Career Opportunities

Actively Hiring – Office Manager – Cincinnati Location

We are seeking a driven and experienced practice manager to join our Ketamine clinic for our Cincinnati location. This is an incredibly rewarding career opportunity to oversee a team of passionate, forward-thinking professionals leading the way in mental health treatment advancements.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage day-to-day operations: scheduling, billing, and records
  • Lead and manage staff: hiring, staff scheduling, employee files and performance management
  • Facilitate a team effort for superior patient experience
  • General office duties: front desk duties, answering phones, customer service, copying, scanning, mail etc.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers for timely and accurate patient care
  • Resolve patient complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, including HIPAA
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment
  • Assures that practice property appearance is clean and professional, arrange for housekeeping/landscaping or other services as required
  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves workflow problems
  • Assist in all areas of clinic operations and providing support when needed
  • Effectively communicate with team members and offer constructive feedback
  • Display excellent customer service, addressing patient care concerns and clinical questions promptly

Requirements: 

  • Preferred to have associate or bachelor’s degree (Healthcare field highly advantageous).
  • Preferred 2 years of experience a receptionist, patient care coordinator, patient consultant, manager, or patient account representative in the medical or mental health field.
  • Preferred knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD and CPT coding
  • Ability to utilize EMR and scheduling software with efficiency and accuracy
  • Ability to pass all applicable state and federal background checks.

Actively Hiring-Infusion Nurse- Cincinnati Location

100% outpatient, nurse to patient ratio is 1:1, no weekends or holidays required. Education and training will be provided upon hire.

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct nursing assessments, interventions, documentation in accordance with standards of practice and individual patient needs for mental health patient population.
  • Administer IVs, IM, subcutaneous injects, nasal sprays. Strong IV skills preferred
  • Direct patient observation and monitoring of vital signs during Ketamine IV infusions
  • Administer treatments according to New Pathways’ protocols and as directed by the supervising provider.
  • Assess patients’ educational needs and provide tailored information to enhance their understanding of their health and self-care practices.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and resolve patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating a willingness to be flexible and to adapt as situations require.
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in office and clinic spaces, adhering to established health and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA.
  • Remain current on advancements in mental health care and maintain required certifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, patient records, and reports in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and communicate appropriately and clearly to supervising provider, clinical, and office staff.
  • Communicate significant changes in patient conditions to supervising provider and provide appropriate intervention based on standing orders and direction from supervising provider.
  • Foster a positive, supportive environment for patients and other staff members.

Qualifications: 

  • Active Nursing license in the state of Ohio or multi-state (required)
  • Nursing experience: 1 years of ER, ICU, PACU, telemetry, psychiatric (preferred)
  • BLS/ACLS Certification (preferred)
  • Clean background check and drug screening
  • Strong IV placement skills
  • Proficient with medical software and equipment
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to proactively work independently and collaboratively as a part of a team


Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respectful and compassionate care to all New Pathways Clinic patients.
  • Review the intake forms and medical records of all New Pathways Clinic patients, to determine whether patient is an appropriate candidate for treatment.
  • Interview and assess each patient prior to treatment, to determine if patient is physiologically appropriate for treatment.
  • Order appropriate lab work and tests.
  • Perform history/physicals as outlined.
  • Review all lab work and notify referral source of abnormalities as necessary.
  • Supervise and maintain legally required documentation for controlled substances.
  • Verify that the patient has a signed informed consent and answer any questions the patients may have about treatment, prior to initiation of treatment.
  • Mix the ketamine infusion bags per protocol, using the aseptic technique.
  • Oversee ketamine, Spravato, Semaglutide, and Tirzepatide treatments per protocol.
  • Notify chief nursing officer and collaborating physician of any unexpected events related to treatment.
  • Remain on call until all patients are adequately recovered and discharged from treatment.
  • Perform chart audits upon request and participate in peer review upon request.

Qualifications: 

  1. Must have an active OHIO APRN license.
  2. Must have current national certification from the appropriate board.
  3. PMHNP certification and dual certification of family medicine is a plus.
  4. Must be able to effectively and compassionately communicate with New Pathways Clinic patients.
