At New Pathways Clinic, we believe mental health care is not a one-size-fits-all journey. Our medical team specializes in advanced, science-supported interventional therapies designed specifically for individuals struggling with treatment-resistant symptoms.
Direct intravenous therapy providing high bioavailability and precise dose monitoring for rapid symptom relief.
Combining low-dose ketamine sessions with structured integration therapy to help process deep emotional insights.
An FDA-approved, insurance-covered esketamine nasal spray specifically indicated for treatment-resistant depression.
Taking the first step toward mental health support can feel intimidating, but our intake process for Toledo mental health services is designed to be calm, simple, and transparent from day one.
Our providers treat a wide range of persistent behavioral and emotional health challenges. Rather than simply managing day-to-day symptoms, our goal as Toledo mental health providers is to help you build a foundation for lasting healing.
Anxiety treatment involves persistent worry, fear, or panic that extends beyond typical stress responses and disrupts daily life.
We provide structured assessment and evidence-based treatment options designed to reduce symptom intensity and improve emotional regulation.
Bipolar disorder treatment is characterized by alternating mood states that may include depressive episodes and periods of elevated or irritable mood. Accurate diagnosis and ongoing monitoring are essential to ensure mood stabilization and long-term safety.
Depression treatment can affect mood, energy, motivation, and overall functioning, often interfering with work, relationships, and daily responsibilities.
Our evaluation process identifies the type and severity of depression to determine an individualized treatment plan.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) involves intrusive thoughts and repetitive behaviors that can become time-consuming and distressing.
Treatment focuses on structured therapeutic approaches and, when appropriate, medication management to reduce symptom severity and improve daily functioning.
PTSD treatment and trauma-related conditions can develop after exposure to distressing or life-threatening events.
Treatment focuses on reducing intrusive symptoms, stabilizing mood, and improving functional recovery through individualized care planning.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a subtype of depression that follows a recurring seasonal pattern, often emerging during fall or winter months. Treatment may include light therapy, psychotherapy, medication management, and advanced options when seasonal episodes remain severe or treatment-resistant.
Suicidal ideation refers to thoughts of self-harm or death that may occur within the context of depression or other psychiatric conditions.
Our care does not include directly treating suicidal ideation, but rather addressing the underlying symptoms with a comprehensive evaluation, safety planning, and mental health services.
Your care at New Pathways Clinic is guided by a multidisciplinary team of licensed medical professionals and clinical specialists.
We pride ourselves on providing a clinical experience that feels transparent, collaborative, and warm. Unlike overburdened hospital networks where appointments can feel rushed, our Toledo mental health providers take the time to evaluate your medical background, validate your lived experiences, and treat you as a whole person.

Ah!!! I am so excited to see that an east side location has opened! I truly cannot say enough about this clinic. When I went, only the west side location was available, and the entire experience was nothing short of incredible. From meeting nurse practitioner Sean Boyd at the very beginning, to visiting the facility, to the incredible staff (especially Daneen), everything about the environment made me feel safe as I stepped into the unknown. This therapy changed—and truly saved—my life in ways I can’t even fully put into words. Now knowing it’s even more accessible to me as an east sider feels like such a blessing. I’m so grateful and excited to return when I need to, and I will continue to speak so highly of New Pathways and celebrate their growth and expansion.Posted on Google![]()

I went here after being out of Spravato treatment for months. The last place I went didn't have single rooms and during the peak I found it difficult to stay grounded when I needed assistance to talk with someone. I ended up having a needed nose surgery that left me out of treatment for months and I relapsed into the depths of my mental ailments. I am open about my mental health diagnoses and experience- because it's critical to helping others. I'm writing this review after having my treatment and feeling like I have gained a little piece of myself back. I suffer from Treatment Resistant Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder. The comorbidity of those together is a different type of suffering that I cannot put in to words. My day to day life has been challenging to say the least. I had treatment yesterday, and I was nervous because that is just my state of being. The place is extremely clean, quiet, and the staff is extremely kind. They know it's a place of healing and make it known that you aren't alone in this long process. My nurse was amazing- she was there for me when I felt a little nervous and kept me grounded. The experience there was amazing which was critical for people like me who are easily affected by our environment. My brain recognizes this clinic as a safe place for healing. I woke up today and all I can say is make the call. I feel the small improvements in the corners of my world. Waking up today felt easier, I didn't feel overwhelmed by my existence in this world. I woke up, got into the shower, had a peaceful relaxing shower. I got out and picked up a bit and sat down and enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate. The best I can describe it is a brain full of alarms blaring got reset. It's worth noting that not everyone will respond to this line of treatment the same way. However, there is a reason I wrote this review; this treatment gave me a piece of my life back when I felt like I was a broken brain at a dead end. I deal with a rare comorbidity of mental health diagnoses, the two biggest being my Borderline Personality Disorder and TR-Depression. I'm pairing this course of treatment with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to hopefully knock down my BPD severity. So if you're like me, feel like you've reached your dead-end with your ailments. Feel like your existence is overwhelming, and you are hanging out by a thin thread I have two things to say. One, you aren't alone, life can suck at times. Two, make the call to New Pathways Clinic and inquire if you could possibly be a good candidate for this line of treatment. They care, they know you matter.Posted on Google![]()

An emergency crisis center (or hospital emergency room) provides immediate, short-term stabilization for acute, life-threatening psychiatric crises. New Pathways Clinic is a scheduled outpatient interventional clinic for mental health in Toledo.
We focus on specialized medical therapies (IV Ketamine, Spravato®, and KAP) designed to help patients experiencing persistent symptoms find long-term stability and wellness.
We know that when you decide to seek help, long wait times can be discouraging. While major regional health systems often have multi-month waiting lists, New Pathways Clinic strives to schedule initial evaluation appointments as quickly as possible—frequently within a week of your initial contact.
In most cases, a formal physician referral is not required to schedule an evaluation with our Toledo mental health clinics, though some specific insurance plans may mandate one for certain therapies like Spravato®.
